Purchase tickets now for Gun Owners of America Guntoberfest at the Secure America Now Training Center in Seguin, Texas Saturday, October 7.

At this fun family range day, you will have an opportunity to take two classes from Paraclete Consulting instructors, meet with GOA staff and learn more about Second Amendment battle from a variety of great speakers.

Also, you will receive free GOA T-Shirt and be entered in multiple giveaways.

Attendees MUST bring the following:

  • Semi-automatic handgun
  • Holster designed for that weaponNo cross-draw holsters, shoulder holsters, or universal nylon holsters IWB or OWB belt holsters ONLY
  • Belt to support the holster
  • Magazines
  • Magazine Pouches
  • Carbine
  • Sling
  • Ammo (100 rounds for each class; approximately 200 rounds total)Ammo will be available for purchase at the event NO GREEN TIP, M855 or Armor Piercing rounds can come on the property

Home Defense & Close Quarters Tactics Training – Paraclete Consulting Group: “Slick”

Location: In Door Non-Lethal Shoot House Class: Instructor led home defense strategies, close quarters tactics, shoot don’t shoot scenarios Instructions: Non-

Lethal training event requires no weapons, ammo or holsters. All equipment will be provided. Time: 2 Hours

Situational Awareness – Triad Defensive Shooting – “Jackie and Kimmie”

Location: In Door Classroom Class: Lecture, lesson plan review on self-defense strategies and situation awareness. Instructions: Classroom training event requires no weapons or ammo and eye protection. Time: 2 Hours

EDC Emergency Aid Response-Paraclete Consulting: “Weston” – Outdoor Shoot House

Location: Overhead Shoot House Patio Class: Instructor led wound recognition, tourniquet application, hemorrhage control, wound packing, shock treatment Instructions: Training event requires no weapons, ammo, holsters or medical equipment. All equipment will be provided. Time: 2 Hours

8 Fundamentals of Shooting – Paraclete Consulting Group: “Kitt”

Location: Range 1 Class: Instructor led lecture on the 8 Fundamentals of marksmanship Instructions: Course will begin with lecture, dry fire, assessment and 50 rounds of live fire drills. Students need a semi-automatic handgun, 3 magazines, belt, inside the waistband holster, appendix holster or outside the waistband holster, eye and ear protection. NO SHOULDER HOSTERS OR UNIVERSAL NYLON HOLSTERS Time: 2 Hours

Practical Pistol Skills – Paraclete Consulting Group: “Beef”

Location: Range 2 Class: Instructor led training on practical pistol skills, trigger control, throttle control, recoil management and engaging multiple targets Instructions: Course will begin with lecture, dry fire, assessment and 75 rounds of live fire drills. Students need a semi-automatic handgun, 3 magazines, belt, inside the waistband holster, appendix holster or outside the waistband holster, eye and ear protection. NO SHOULDER HOSTERS OR UNIVERSAL NYLON HOLSTERS Time: 2 Hours

Intro to Pistol Skills – Paraclete Consulting Group:

Location: Range 3 Class: Instructor led lecture on intro to pistol. Instructions: Course will begin with lecture, dry fire, assessment and 50 rounds of live fire drills. Students need a semi-automatic handgun, 3 magazines, belt, inside the waistband holster, appendix holster or outside the waistband holster, eye and ear protection. NO SHOULDER HOSTERS OR UNIVERSAL NYLON HOLSTERS Time: 2 Hours

Carbine 101– Paraclete Consulting Group: “Blu” – Blue Scorpion Training

Location: Range 4 Class: Instructor led training on fundamental carbine skills. Instructions: Course will begin with lecture, explanation on function and operation of the semi-auto carbine, dry fire, assessment and 75 rounds of live fire drills. Students need a zeroed semi-automatic carbine, sling, 3 magazines, eye and ear protection. No green tip, M855 or armor piercing rounds permitted Time: 2 Hours

Long Range Carbine Skills: Paraclete Consulting Group Range 5: “Chubs”

Location: Range 5 Class: Instructor led training on long range carbine skills. (100 yards and 200 yard engagements) Instructions: Course will begin with lecture, explanation on holdovers, longer range engagement, split times, use of supported shots from the prone and kneeling positions. Students need 100 rounds of ammunition. No green tip, M855 or armor piercing rounds permitted. Students need a zeroed semi-automatic carbine, sling, 3 magazines, eye and ear protection. Time: 2 Hours

Attendees taking a live fire weapons course must provide their own weapons, equipment, holsters, magazines, ammunition, eye and ear protection.
