FAST Red Dot Pistol Course

This is an 8-hour FAST Red Dot Pistol course focusing on advanced pistol skills. This course will confirm the RDS zero and review practical skills at various distances seeking to improve speed, performance and accuracy while reviewing the skills necessary for improving speed and efficiency from the draw stroke and presentation while developing skills for tracking the red dot, managing recoil, improving split times and trigger control.

Attendees will identify initial baseline times on the PCG FAST test consisting of the following drills. Upon completion of the course, students will take a final FAST Test consisting of:

• 1 shot draw
• 2 shot deadly force drill
• 3 shot failure drill
• 4 shot hammer drill
• 6 shot bill drill
• Reload Drill
• Failure to Fire Drill
• 25 yard recoil management drill

All attendees need a semi-automatic handgun, quality IWB, AIWB or OWB holster designed for that weapon, 3-4 magazines, double magazine pouch, belt, associated gear, eye and ear protection and 350 rounds ammo. We will be shooting steel so you MUST have side shields on your eye protection.

Participation in training requires intermediate to advanced weapons handling skills in which the attendee assumes full responsibility for his/her own safety and improper weapons handling skills.

All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.

All attendees MUST RSVP and prepay by using the event tool.
