About the Event

This is a 3-day intense 8-hour a day course requiring attendees to participate in and provide classroom, dry fire and live fire instruction and instructor to student instruction.

Attendees MUST have a TCOLE instructor certification or nationally recognized instructor certification or verifiable advanced level firearms training through the US MIL, LEO, government agency, private security board or firearms training organization with certificates of training.

Successful completion of the course and certification will require attendees to pass the Paraclete Consulting Group timed 50-round TCOLE pistol qualification with a minimum proficiency score of 90%.

This is not a traditional instructor course and will not consist of traditional shooting drills and curriculum development. This course is intended to educate and build the next generation of instructors.

Students will receive constant instruction, corrective action and training while participating in mock dry fire and live fire scenario-based training. Role players will be on hand and students are required to provide one on one and large class instructor to student training, live fire demos, shooter assessment, shot group analysis and shot group assessment and be trained on how to observe and correct improper weapons handling skills and shooting techniques.

Students will build courses of fire, explain and demo their course of fire and lead blocks of instruction and conduct student analysis, assessment and be assisted in providing effective teach backs and corrective action.

Attendees are required to bring the following each day:

  • High-capacity semi-automatic handgun (15 rounds or more)
  • 750 rounds of ammunition for the class (Ball FMJ training ammo is fine)
  • Holster designed for that handgun (Holster must be quality molded Kydex material in an outside the waistband/OWB configuration)
  • Three or more magazines
  • Double magazine pouch
  • Duty belt or battle belt
  • 2 large tip black permanent markers
  • Shot timer if owned but not mandatory
  • Any owned training aids, sight picture cards, visual aids, etc. but not mandatory
  • Notebook and pen
  • Eye Protection with side shields
  • Hearing protection
  • Closed toed footwear
  • Appropriate clothing for the weather
  • Sunblock is recommended
  • Headgear is recommended
  • Chair
  • Water / Fluids
  • Lunch and a snack if needed.
  • Body armor is optional

Course Fee is $750.00 (No refunds or credits will be granted for missed classes unless a 72-hour advanced notification is provided)
