T3 Train The Trainer Pistol

The student will be required to know the 4 Cardinal Safety Rules and the 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship. The student will receive instruction on and then demonstrate dry and live fire teach backs while assessing individual shooters. Students will provide corrective action explanations and instructor led demonstrations too include live fire demos. Students will run pistol qualifications with an Assistant Instructor (AI) utilizing a shot timer. Students will provide individual shooter evaluation, shot group analysis and corrective action based upon observed fundamental errors. Students will role play in this class and run live fire ranges and drills. Students will receive feedback on their performance and Day 2 will consist of an evaluation and assessment on a block of instruction each instructor will provide.  Please contact me directly if you have any questions about the course.

The T3 Course will address:

• Theory of Learning
• Principles of Firearms Instruction
• Range Setup and Range Safety
• 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship                    
  • Each student will be required to provide instructor led classes on the 7 Fundamentals
  • Instructor Led Courses and Shooter Assessment Drills
  • Instructor led Diagnostic Drills
  • Instructor led Qualifications

Attendees should bring a shot timer if they own it, classroom tools / props they possess, safety equipment, range props such as a steel they prefer to shoot and have a drill prepared that address one of the 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship or shooting technique. Each attendee should prepare a 25 round qualification assessment valued at 4 points each for a total score of 100. If you do ot own range props, steel and targets, they will be provided for you.
