Defensive Pistol Course

This defensive handgun course will educate the shooter on techniques for shooting with speed and accuracy. Attendees will learn and perform techniques for shooting, reloading and clearing malfunctions in various positions while on the ground. Attendees will be learn and perform interior and exterior vehicle drills and shooting techniques as well as critical movement drills.

The load out for each person will be:

· Semi-automatic handgun 

  Kydex holster designed for your weapon

· 3 magazines

  200 rounds of ammo

· Magazine pouches

· Quality Belt

· Associated gear: eye protection with side shields, hearing protection and ammo.

· Water, fluids, electrolytes, food/snack

· Chair and overhead cover (You may bring a pop-up tent provided you arrive early enough to set up prior to the 1330 check in time and it is properly weighted down)

· Dress appropriately, tee shirts or shirts without collars are recommended, no shorts, bring sunblock and a towel

· Bring your cell phone for video diagnostics and attendees are free to video throughout the course

Ammo for the event is available for purchase:

· 9mm 115gr is $40/50 round box

· 9mm 124gr is $45/50 round box.

· 5.56 / 223 is $45/50 round box

· Ammo is sold in 50 rounds boxes and cannot be subdivided.

§ All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.

§ Participation in training requires exercises and tests of physical agility, physical excursion, rapid heart rate, unconventional shooting positions in which the attendee assumes full responsibility for his/her own safety and improper weapons handling skills.
