Close Quarters Carbine: Non-Lethal Force on Force Course

The Close Quarters (CQT) Carbine Course  is the foundational block of training focusing on defensive skills in close quarters, home defense and urban environments. This is not a basic course and attendance to this course requires the student to possess a basic or entry level comprehension of the semi-auto carbine and close quarter skills.  This course will include classroom lecture and instructor led training on:

• Principles of Close Quarters Tactics
• Area searches
• Approach to the objective or structure
• Threshold Stacking
• Threshold Exterior Clearing
• Room Entry
• Room Clearing
• Hallways
• T Shape Hallways
• 90 Degree Turns
• Low Ready Clearing Skills and Speed
• High Port Clearing Skills and Speed
• Buttstock Drag Entry Skills and Speed
• Imminent Threat Skills and Speed
• Shoot – Don’t Shoot Scenarios
• Live Fire Hostage Situations
• Force on Force Scenarios (Students will participate in force on force reality based training scenarios)
• Students will receive one on one instructor to student assessment and group assessment and evaluation

**Students personal weapons will be used during dry fire CQT training. Slings are mandatory. No ammunition or magazines are needed. All weapons, magazines and non-lethal ammunition will be provided by the range for the practical exercises, scenarios and force on force training in the shoot house. Students must have eye protection.

Attendees are required to bring a:

• Semi-automatic carbine
• Sling
• Eye Protection with side shields
• Closed toed footwear
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
• Headgear is recommended
• Chair
• Water / Fluids
• Lunch and a snack; we will not depart the training facility for lunch.

Course Fee is $350.00 (No refunds or credits will be granted for missed classes unless a 72-hour notification is provided)
