April Open Range Day
Time & Location
About the Event
April Open Range Day will focus on pistol fundamentals, drills, assessment and various shooting stages. We will focus on "everyday carry" concealed pistol work and request all shooters bring an appendix holster, hip holster or some type of garment to cover your weapon and magazines. Let's return to every day carry training!
We will open up the range and allow you to shoot from behind barricades, doors and walls where footwork and position will be assessed. We will have paper targets up for you to work on focus drills, drawing, presenting and time drills. We will have plenty of steel, the 6" popper deck and vertical tree for enjoyment.
We will also be providing a opportunity to test for those that wish to participate in the PCG Degree Assessment Test. You will need 150 rounds for this test and you will be awarded a color coded sticker for your gear / equipment based upon your level obtained.
Cost is $60.00!
All shooters need a semi-automatic pistol, holster, 3 magzines, magazine pouch, associated gear, eye and ear protection and ammo. We will be shooting steel so be sure you have side shields on your eye protection.
Shooters must RSVP and prepay.
Participation in training requires exercises and tests of physical agility, physical excursion, rapid heart rate, unconventional shooting positions in which the attendee assumes full responsibility for his/her own safety and improper weapons handling skills.
All attendees MUST sign the Release of Liability Waiver.
All attendees MUST RSVP and prepay by using the event tool.
